Jonathan Carp, MD, is a board-certified clinical dermatologist providing comprehensive dermatology care with expertise in general dermatology, minor skin surgery, and systemic treatment for a wide range of skin conditions. An award-winning physician, Dr. Carp is known for delivering personalized, patient-centered care while helping patients better understand the connection between skin health and overall medical wellness.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University through a combined BA/MD program that allowed him to complete medical school early. After completing an internship in internal medicine at Rutgers, he pursued advanced training in dermatology through his residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Carp later served for four years as Chief of Dermatology for a prominent California medical group, leading a team of nine dermatologists, two Mohs surgeons, and a five-member support staff. He also received the Outstanding Clinical Dermatologist Merit Award for three consecutive years. His practice emphasizes education, prevention, and comprehensive dermatologic care designed to support both skin health and overall well-being.
